Grade 3 - ICT

Learning how to create presentations may provide students an effective way to showcase their work using computers. This course introduces students to MS PowerPoint and its various features like animations. Students will create a maze game with the help of shapes and create a maze outline. With the help of animations, they can animate and move the shapes in different directions.

Grade 3 - Coding Animations

Thinking creatively, reasoning systematically and working collaboratively are essential skills for the 21st century. This course presents an opportunity to develop these skills at the young age of grade 3 students, in a play-based way. Students will learn to create their own story, along with text, characters and music of their choice. The course can be considered as the first rung of a ladder in learning programming. Students will learn to control sprites using keyboard keys. They will also learn to create a single-player game where the score updates can be done.

Students will learn to create a quiz where the quizmaster can ask many questions and the players respond.
