Students will further explore sorting algorithms. They will be introduced to Insertion sort and Merge sort. Insertion sort works similar to the way you arrange a deck of cards in which the sorted array is built having one item at a time. Merge sort is based on the divide and conquer strategy. Students will understand to identify and classify sets using Insertion sort. They will further be able to recognize relations between data using logical thinking in Merge sort.

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is the underlying markup language of the World Wide Web. A markup language annotates or “marks up” plain text, letting a browser know how to format that text so it looks good on a Web page. It’s the common thread that ties together virtually every Web site, from large-scale corporate sites such as Microsoft’s to single-page classroom projects at schools.

In this course, students learn some basics about HTML. They will turn plain text into attractive formatting by incorporating graphics and hyperlinks. This course also explains what cascading style sheets (CSS) are, and how they make formatting consistent across large Web sites.

In this course, students will be learning about the basics of the MIT App Inventor. They will get acquainted with the building blocks of an Android application. They will learn to design the user interface of the application and program the back-end working. MIT app inventor helps students understand the basic logic behind the programming. In every session,  students will build one simple application. Students will develop  games, where they learnt about adding sprites and timer events.

Students will learn about the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI ethics. Students will also create Interesting programs and games with AI blocks like a Rock-paper-Scissor game and write an AI application to identify if a person is wearing a mask.
